7 Days Rwanda Gorillas & Wildlife Safari

Get to the Kigali International Airport where you are welcomed by a driver guide who transfers you on city tour around Kigali as you visit the various Genocide Memorials, National Museums and National Market.

You shall visit the Genocide Memorials and learn about the tragic Genocide in which many Rwandans lost their dear lives. Lunch is en-route then later you shall transfer to check-in your lodge/ hotel for Dinner and Overnight. Serna Hotel Kigali.

Breakfast early in the morning then Afterwards you shall transfer to AKagera National Park for a period of 2 to 3 hours. After a while you shall reach the Park and take an en-route Game Drive on which you watch wildlife animals like elephants, lions, black eastern rhinos, giraffes, zebras, hippos etc around the park then check-in lodge for Dinner and Overnight. Wake up have breakfast then transfer to enjoy a Game Drive as you traverse from one track to another watching many wildlife animals wandering around their natural vegetation habitat. The wildlife animals you view on Game Drive include; elephants, lions, black eastern rhinos, giraffes, zebras, hippos, crocodiles and over 500 bird species.

After the Game Drive at mid Day, break off for lunch then proceed to enjoy an afternoon Boat Cruise along Lake Ihema. You watch crocodiles and hippos in the water as well as elephants, giraffes along the shores.

The Boat Cruise takes a period of 3 hours. After the Boat Cruise, you shall transfer back to your lodge for relaxation, Dinner and Overnight. Akagera Game Lodge (Mantis).

Wake up have breakfast then embark on transfer to the stunning famous Volcanoes National Park located in Musanze Kinigi and known to offer amazing Gorilla Trekking Tours to all travelers.

You shall transfer for a period of 4 to 6 hours following rolling hills, deviating canopies till you reach the Park. You shall then transfer to check-in lodge for relaxation, Dinner and Overnight. Five Volcanoes Lodge.

Gorilla Trekking in the Park is the most prominent Safari Adventures and this gives you a chance to trek and watch the majestic Mountain Gorillas in their natural forest vegetation habitat. You shall wake up early have breakfast at the lodge then embark on drive to the Kinigi Park headquarters where you shall get welcomed by experienced park ranger guides who take you through precise briefing on conduct around the Mountain Gorillas.

After the briefing session, he shall allocate you into groups of 8 with lead park ranger guides who lead you to the starting points where you leave from to enter the forest to trek the Gorillas. You trek the Gorillas for a period of 3 to 5 hours following varying trails in the forest till you meet the Gorillas.

You shall spend an hour in the presence of the Gorillas taking many photos to keep. You should use a camera that has no flash. After trekking the Gorillas, you shall return back to lodge for Dinner and Overnight. Five Volcanoes Lodge.

Other than Gorilla Trekking, travelers can enjoy Golden Monkey Tracking in the Park which offers them a chance to track and watch the rare species of Golden Monkeys in their natural forest habitat.
