This 4 Days Congo Gorilla Trekking Tour offers you exceptional Gorilla Trekking adventures as you trek the majestic Mountain Gorillas in their natural forest vegetation habitat. On this Tour, you shall watch the rare species on Gorillas in their natural habitat.
Day 1 : Pick up at Grande Barriere border
Day 2: Gorilla Trekking in Kibumba Sector
Day 3: Hiking Nyiragongo Volcano in Great Virunga
Day 4: Descending and Transfer to the border
On arriving at the Congo border of Grande Barriere, you shall finish with your border crossing documents then transfer to the Virunga tourism office. Afterwards, the driver guide shall transfer you to the Kibumba Tented camp for dinner and overnight. When you get here, relax as you watch the great Virunga Mountains like Nyiragongo, Mikeno mountain.
Early morning breakfast at the Kibumba Tented Camp then transfer to the Park headquarters for short briefing on the conduct around the Mountain Gorillas then later enter the green forest to trek the Gorillas for 3 to 5 hours.
After a while transferring along the varying trails looking for the Gorillas, you shall meet them and stay in their presence taking many photos to keep.
You shall stay in their presence for an hour taking many photos to keep. After trekking the Gorillas, you shall transfer back to the park headquarters for your Gorilla Trekking Certificate then back to lodge for Dinner and Overnight. Kibumba Tented camp.
Breakfast then transfer on hike to the highest point of mount Nyiragongo Volcano. You shall transfer to the Kibati Ranger Post at 8:15am where you shall, be briefed on conduct as you hike the Mountain. Afterwards you shall embark on hike for a period of 6 hours watching the terrain, bird species at a distance. After a while you shall reach the top at the Mountain and watch lava spewing into the air and take photos to keep. After the adventure, you rest and have Overnight in the summit shelters.
Early morning have breakfast then leave the crater rim descend back to Kibati for a period of 4 hours. After a while, you shall reach the base where you leave from to board a flight back home.
