The 4 Days Rwanda Gorillas & Golden Monkeys Tour starts in Kigali at the Airport where you get welcomed by a company driver guide who informs you about the 4 Days Gorilla & Golden Monkey Trekking Tour then later transfers you to watch them in their habitat. You shall trek and watch the rare primate species i.e Mountain Gorillas and Golden Monkeys at Volcanoes National Park.
Day 1: Arrival and Transfer to Volcanoes National Park
Day 2: Gorilla Trekking at Volcanoes National Park
Day 3: Golden Monkey Tracking at Volcanoes National Park
Day 4: Departure to Kigali International Airport
You arrive at the Kigali International Airport where you are welcomed by a driver guide who informs you about the 4 Days Rwanda Gorillas & Golden Monkeys Tour and later he shall transfer you on a precise Tour around Kigali visiting the genocide memorials, National Museums as well as National Market where you get some souvenir.
After the tour, he shall ten transfer you to Ruhengeri at Volcanoes National Park. The journey takes you 2 to 3 hours via deviating canopies, rolling hills which are misty and after a while, you shall reach the park and check-in lodge for relaxation, Dinner and Overnight. Five Volcanoes Lodge.
Gorilla Trekking in the Park is the most prominent Safari Adventures and this gives you a chance to trek and watch the majestic Mountain Gorillas in their natural forest vegetation habitat. You shall wake up early have breakfast at the lodge then embark on drive to the Kinigi Park headquarters where you shall get welcomed by experienced park ranger guides who take you through precise briefing on conduct around the Mountain Gorillas.
After the briefing session, he shall allocate you into groups of 8 with lead park ranger guides who lead you to the starting points where you leave from to enter the forest to trek the Gorillas. You trek the Gorillas for a period of 3 to 5 hours following varying trails in the forest till you meet the Gorillas.
You shall spend an hour in the presence of the Gorillas taking many photos to keep. You should use a camera that has no flash. After trekking the Gorillas, you shall return back to lodge for Dinner and Overnight. Five Volcanoes Lodge.
Other than Gorilla Trekking, travelers can enjoy Golden Monkey Tracking in the Park which offers them a chance to track and watch the rare species of Golden Monkeys in their natural forest habitat.
